Bantam Hi-Lite .25 Shot Count

I'm sorry, I guess I should have had you look at the manual in the first place instead of giving you fill pressures. My manual says something like 200BAR UK rifles and up to 240BAR for export and HUMA regulated rifles. Mines and exported model so we've always filled our to 230BAR thinking we're being on the safe side, 10BAR below the recommended fill pressure. Sorry, Stoti

When I picked up my bantam in 25 I called AOA after my first week and asked about shot count? It was worse than my mrod and a way bigger tank? And it burped after about 10-15 shots which is horrible hammer bounce, that’s when I took it apart, as I already had the .177 (which I still love), and noticed the 1.5” hammer preload and modified hammer. After 6 months and about 10 tins of kings this is what I think? They took a really good 177-22 cal build and changed nothing but the hammer? They have very little throw room in the hammer travel, hence the massive preload, and also why the slingshot hammer works in the smaller calibers. So after 15 different springs, I settled with a heavy, short spring, with zero preload, and I get 55 perfect shots per fill at 775 FPS 25.4 kings, very good shooting, under powered 25, but otherwise it had no curve, it just fell off a cliff from about 850 FPS, I should have sold it back then, but it’s now my truck beater gun, shoots .5 at 50 yds all day long and is great for a tweaner, sits right between 22 in the 30-33 fpe and normal 25s in the 45 fpe range, just my opinion bro? This gun was by far my biggest frustration right out of the box, if it didn’t shoot so good, I would have just kept it to beat the dog with!
