Ballistic Software question

I have been playing with "chairgun" and I like it but wanted to be able to print my reticle with hold overs for my scope. Like the screenshot bellow. But in a file format that I can change data. So I downloaded the "Strelok Pro" and it is more complicated to get around in. I havnt figured it out yet there is a lot you can do for sure. I tried to show what I want the .png is how it comes out of chairgun. I like it but some of my hold overs are not actual, so I messed around with a the photo and added the correct numbers shown in the jpeg. I notice in Strelok you can sent files and print. Is anyone familiar with what I am trying to do and straiten me out. thanks in advance

I have Strelok Pro. In the reticle screen you can take a screenshot of save to a *.png image file, which is only editable in a photo editor. Some photo editors let you overlay text, so you can 'fix it in the mix' after exporting the original image. Photoshop can do it, but not everyone has that...the android app 'Photo Editor' by dev macguyver can overlay text too.

However, from the table screen, you can export all the information as a spreadsheet *.XLS file, which you can of course edit and print.

If you have all the data properly set up, you shouldn't have to edit values. This can be time consuming, though, to make the software track with your gun.

I made some screenshots from my tablet for you and others. Hope these help.

From the home screen, you can click on reticles to see the graphic reticle screen, or click to table icon to generate a range table:

From the reticle screen, there is a *.png image save icon:

And finally, from the table screen, click the gear icon to set up the data configuration for the table, then click the *.XLS export icon to save as a spreadsheet file:

I found SterlokPro much easier to use ten chairgun ,after you put all the information in is spot on.

On the main page you got 8 "apps" on the bottom and if you click on forth one you can email and print it out ,this is kind of range card set up not recticle as you showing above.

First "app" is recticle one that you can also send it to your email to print out , but I think you can do it for only one distance, whatever you got set up in first tab, in my case 30yards.

from what I remember chairgun was same thing

Strelok Pro has also a ton of reticles — not just Hawke scope reticles....



And if you have an SFP scope you can export and print the reticle at different magnifications (for an FFP scope you'll just need one printout, as the reticle holdoffs are the same no matter what magnification you use).

Strelok Pro all the way! If you turrets are accurate then you will hit your target with Strelok pro, I found out most of my scopes' turrets aren't accurate.

Thanks for the help. You guys pointed me in a good direction. I was having a rough start navigating around. But was finding it easier. Then I realized I could use an iPad also. The iPads bigger screen helps also the displayed format is easier to see and navigate. This is really nice. I was setting up a field target rifle 10-55 yards. Just for kicks I moved out to 75 max distance out of my garage. I was hitting pretty good at 75. The only misses were me reading the wind. Best 11 bucks I have spent on my air guns. I guess I was late to the party.

strelok has native support for weather flow and it’s is spot on with density altitude, temperature and humidity. This will make strelok freakishly accurate.

The brown is the version that has built in compass and good if you got and weather vane, it's really not all that needed. I have the compass version and found it easier to just use the phone's compass since I don't use the vane/stand.



edit: at longer ranges the humidity, temperature and density altitude all make a big difference. I’ve seen 1-3 clicks(mil) in POI shift at Same location. With the westherflow strelok is freakishly accurate!!! Well worth the 80 dollars unless you invest in the 650 dollar kestrel.
