Baker Rocks

I purchased one of their pre-owned rifles last week. This week when I received it I put it through chrono testing both for different pellets as well as for the overall shot curve (non-regulated rifle). Everything looked great on the chrono, and the golden zone on the velocity curve was actually really nice and wide.

But on zeroing and accuracy testing I kept getting unusual flyers. Almost seemed like pellet clipping, but I was not using a moderator and they would fly in different directions. Sometimes I could just shoot out the 1/3" bull with ease, but the next 5 shots would have 1-2 bizarre flyers. Changed the mag, changed the scope and mounts, cleaned the barrel (actually the barrel was received very clean). Nothing helped and I was frustrated. Maybe this was more of a hunter (definitely had minute of critter accuracy) and I was trying to use it as a precision target rifle?

Anyway, called up Baker and spoke with Donnie about my 'issues.' He definitely knows his stuff, and we discussed what I was seeing and what I had done. He asks "what would you like to do?" I respond that I would like to return the rifle for a refund. Donnie responds "No problem, and we're sorry that you had this issue."

No muss, no fuss, just pure customer focused service.

Thank you Baker Airguns.

Now, do you still have some of those Crown Mk II's in stock... 😉
