Baikal 46 m

Just had the Izzy out for a shake down. Seemed to function well, hit the can with authority at 10 yds or so. AOA shot three shots when I was on the phone with Darrin, 470, 470, 468 with 8gn pellets. I haven't shot it over the chrony yet but have no reason to doubt those numbers. This gun is going to be a blast to shoot, especially after I get grips to fit me.

Here is test of my 46m three years ago:

Numbers I got with my early-version 46M many years ago. Data: pellet, weight (grains), average velocity of 15-shot string (FPS), extreme deviation (FPS), standard deviation (% of average velocity).

RWS Hobby tin 1, 6.9 gr, 493 FPS, 11 FPS, 0.64%
RWS Hobby tin 2, 6.9 gr, 486 FPS, 15 FPS, 0.80%
RWS Geco, 6.9 gr, 487 FPS, 21 FPS, 1.23%
BSA Excalibur, 7.3 gr, 481 FPS, 12 FPS, 0.62%
Chinese Match pellets, 7.8 gr, 463 FPS, 8FPS, 0.37%

An SD under 1% is very good, much under that with a pistol is outstanding. As I previously mentioned...I was an idiot to sell this gun! 😖
