BAGA’s first Field Target match of 2015
Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know that we are REALLLLLY excited to hold the first field target match of 2015 this Saturday, May 16th. This winter was a BUGGER! Everyone up north here is itchin to shoot a FT match and the time has finally come!!!!!!!
The sight-in range will open at 9:30am
Safety meeting will probably start around 10:30-10:45ish depending on if everyone is ready to get started. Expect the match to start between 11:00-11:30ish depending on how many questions we get during the safety meeting. Alex does not like to talk everyone’s ears off so we typically get to it pretty quickly after he makes sure everyone can get at it safely.
Eye and ear protection are NOT mandatory but you can wear whatever you like to shoot the matches.
We will be serving lunch for a $5.00 donation directly after the match. Our Chef Ron will be on hand and ready to serve us an awesome meal. All are welcome to enjoy!
There might be a little mud in the sight in range and some damp wood chips on the match course since we have had a bunch of rain of late. Should not be a problem for anyone unless they wear their church shoes to the match…Soooooooo don’t do that.
I walked the sight in range and match course last Saturday and the range was much softer than the FT Course so I am really looking forward to a great first match of 2015!!!!
We will be setting the course this Friday so anyone looking to come out and help let me know and I can help coordinate that so proper access is provided.
