I'm currently in the middle of a high-power marauder build & using an extended shroud to accommodate a 600mm aftermarket barrel. The shroud came with extra baffles, but I didn't have any need for them since most of the space they would have taken up is being used by the new barrel. This got me thinking: "What if I cut the baffles in half, doubling the amount? Could this make the gun quieter?"
I want to get peoples' thoughts and knowledge of other projects like this, though, before I do something that could hurt the progress I've made on my gun.
