I live in CT and have been shooting in my backyard for years. I am located in a “town”, not a city. Great neighbors! I shoot about 300 feet from the road. Everything from bb to 30.06. No problems yet. I feel your pain. I can not imagine having to stop shooting on my own land.
I never heard that shooting from inside a structure would be quieter. I might need to try that and see. But it would bring me closer to the road. Anyone else shoot from inside?
