Backpacking gun

I’ve been spending a lot of time lately looking at compact or tactical style foldable airguns for backpacking and backyard pesting. Something I can take with me in my truck, and not have to worry about it taking up tons of space. Every post I read, it’s edgun this, ataman that, wildcat this, and Dreamline that. The only “budget friendly” guns in this category that get any recommendations is the crossman offerings like the prod or similar pistols. 
my question is, why doesn’t the kral puncher np-03 or any of the np series kral guns get any recommendations? Seems to me that for the price ($400) it does most of the things the other high end guns do (within reason), but with a more “average Joe” friendly price. 
honestly, I’m looking at getting one, but the lack of recommendations and support on sites like this make me kind of nervous. 
what am I missing? Are there issues with this choice I don’t know about?

I love small compact " backpack " guns. Have a few powder burner versions. But have also been interested in a air rifle one.

I stumbled across this one online, looks promising but the manufacture has some horrible reviews and multiple customer service issues. As much as I like the gun , I don't want to be out that kind of money if the gun is a dud.

Do any members have any experience with this gun?

I have one in 22 and 25.

22 is tuned to 28fpe 36 shots

25 is tuned to 45fpe 20 shots

Love them both.

Do you think they’re accurate out to 50yds out of the box? and are they hand pump friendly?

So how loud are these without moderator? I like the set up, but I hear they are on the loud side....

Any short barrel un silenced gun is loud. I did an internal mod on mine plus use a Donnyfl. Bottom is factory and top is what I do to mine.

My backpack gun. Leshiy in .177 shooting Jsb monsters at 844fps. 21 shots on the reg. Seems you are not looking for something a bit higher end but I figured I would mention. These are very reliable, and very compact especially when folded. Also easy on the wallet if you want to change calibers. Hand pump friendly or you can easily pack a small buddy bottle along with it and get a a nice amount of fills with it considering how small the air reservoir is.

I have been looking at the NP-03 for a few weeks now. How is the grip? It looks as uncomfortable as possible

If you can handle the weight, a Taipan Veteran is tough as nails and as accurate as many BR rifles.

If you go cheap and accurate PCP,

I would recommend the PP700 with a folding stock or the PP750 with the slide stock ( if it ever gets in stock).

Or even cheaper and Co2, the Diana Chaser than can go from pistol to rifle mode in seconds.
