I have the newer model Aztec Emerald 5.5-25X50 with target knobs, illuminated reticle, and zero stop. I haven't seen any reviews or comments yet. Anyone else have this newer model with any positive or negative comments? Thanks.
The latter models are pretty good if dialing and have decent turrets but the older model that I had for a short time was gotten rid of because the turrets were inexcusably poor.
Scott, hope it works well for you. I have an older Midas (BTR 4.5x27x50 I believe). Great glass, CRISP clicking, only scope I have that's set up & marked for distance clicking. VERY solid & repeatable. Hope yours will be likewise.
I have a first generation Aztec Enerald 6-24 FFP on a Pathfinder XR. It has served me well. I don’t dial with mine and simply use holdovers out to the ranges I shoot. I really like the 2 MOA spacing on the Christmas tree, it’s very useful because of the loopy trajectory comparing bullets to pellets. As opposed to my first gen Helos, which I do dial with because of the more robust turrets. The drawback for me is the 5 MOA spacing on the Christmas tree, which renders it mostly unusable to at practical to me, pesting distances…
