Does anyone have the new Aztec Emerald 5.5-25X50 zero stop scope? Love mine. Just looking for comments. Thanks

Am I the only person with this Aztec scope?
It is very bright and clear. It focuses down to 7 yards even on 25X.
Comes with parallax wheel, flip up lens covers, sun shade, and Allan wrenches. 30mm tube diameter. Zero stop works great. Clicks are audible and precise but a little stiff at first. It is ffp. I have only hunted with it once and so far I like it better than my Hawke 2.5-15X50 sf. The weather is going to turn for the worse here in the NW so I need to get out and shoot some soon.

I have SFP Aztecs so I can't comment on the FFP. On the SFP version, the splines are different on the turret cap making it almost impossible to line up exactly on zero. I use a scope tape with mine so it isn't that important, but I'm curious if they fixed that issue on the newer FFP model?

Ralph, I know what you're talking about splines not lining up. The splines line up on this scope. Go by AOA and take a look at one.

I have only hunted with it once. It worked great. I wanted a zero stop scope. It focuses down to less than 10 yards. I am in Ecuador for three months so that means no guns. I get back in April and plan on hunting alot. Where did you get yours? I think you will like it.

I bought my used on eBay,I got all-in because of " Cyclops" review on it and because it seemed like a great deal.After thought was I wouldn't even put it on my air rifles,it will be going on a target .22 rimfire for now.

I have the 1st generation FFP. Mine has been great. Used extensively afield, lots of kills, the furthest at 104 yards. I love the xmas tree reticle because it offers airgun practical. Holdover and hold off dots and is not intrusive. The red/green IR is daylight visible. For me it has been a good scope.

I'll say this, and that is the Gen2 version has infinitely better turrets than the G1 has. It's a HUGE improvement.

It might not be labeled on the boxes, or on the AOA website?? but there is a newest generation.

Zero stop was added I think. I really like mine. I haven't hunted with it but once since mounting it on my FX400. If the weather clears I'll be going over to central WA to shoot some birds.

ZS, probably so.
I was sent a MOA version, vs the MIL version I wanted, so I didn't read the instructions.
I'm going to sell it and my other MOA scopes to go to all MIL.
