Aztec Emerald 5.5-25x50 FFP Scopes - Anybody knows where they are made?

Aztec Emerald 5.5-25x50 FFP Scopes - Anybody knows where they are made? Am considering getting one but can't seem to get any info on where they are made and their website appears a little cheesy... Can't find a phone number or address for the company and certainly nothing about where they are made. China? Somewhere else?

Would love to hear more about the company... Where else can one get a FFP scope for $439,99 ? I am concerned the quality and clarity is just not there... My dad's words keep ringing in my head "You get what you pay for" There is some positive feedback on this site but would really like to know where they are made and more feedback from users. Tnx

I have one on a wildcat and I really like it. The glass is clear, the reticle is nice, and it’s clicks are repeatable. All that aside, I’m pretty sure they’re made in China. These scopes were the first endeavor of the element optics boys. They were designed around air guns, and are not designed for recoil. They are a little dark at their highest magnification, but they’re still a nice scope.

there are, however, better options these days with all the new FFP budget options coming out. One of them bein Arken optics. Their 6-24x50 sh4 scope is on sal theough them right now with the cyclops code. It brings it to $399 and it’s worth every penny. Check it out!

I have purchased three of the Aztec scopes in FFP and SFP and am not disappointed in any of them. At the time I purchased them they were about the best you could buy for the money. There are many more scopes out in this price range these days. But they still hold their own in comparison.

Wonderful Reticle not too busy but has some hold off dots

Clear glass although a bit of color fringing on the edges in certain lighting situations but most, if not all, scopes in this price range and beyond are the same.

Decent repeatable turret dials.

I would expect the Element Helix and one or two others to be just as good but I don't have any of them for comparison. Once again for me the reticle wins out when compared to most others.

If memory serves they are made in China but inspected elsewhere.

I recently replaced one of them with a lighter weight fixed power Immersive optics 10x40 Prism scope. I am quite happy with it also. The clarity and brightness at ten power is about the same. USA cost is 20% less as they are priced in Canadian dollars.

I have an both an Aztec SFP and a FFP. I like both but prefer the FFP as the reticle on the SFP is too fine at the largest magnification. When I got my FFP it did not focus well and I exchange it with the dealer and it is now my favorite scope. When I bought my M3 I could not find an Aztec for sale. I wanted to get a Titan Element Optics, but the parallax/focus may not have gone down below 16 yards and sometimes I shoot down to 15. I got a Helix FFP. It is a nice scope. I prefer the reticle and the glass of the Aztec (along with the illuminated reticle), but the turrets are a tad bit better on the Helix.

Good luck!
