I have tried several slugs in my Seneca Eagle Claw .25. I discovered AVS while reading a couple of reviews, and decided to order a sample pack. They arrived very shortly, and I could see they were different in appearance from any other slug. After a full afternoon with the chronograph and punching paper, I was thoroughly impressed with the FPE and the accuracy of these slugs. I showed them to a friend, who did a gel test to check on how they performed. Amazing, they mushroomed and looked like they would be killers. We took them to a permission dairy farm and tried them on pigeons and doves. When they hit, they died. No fly offs or even cripples. Just dead birds. AVS will custom size and grain to your specifications. In my .25, I am using .254 and getting 70 FPE. We are smacking birds out to 80 yards with ease. Accuracy is amazing for a rifle that isn't supposed to do well with slugs. You need to try AVS.

i was shooting the 38gr in my wildcat mkIII, they were the best performing slugs in that gun.

Edit: Truly those slugs weren't bought for my Vulcan I never had the intention of shooting slugs but I was shooting with it and it occurred to me to do a test

No, haven't tried NSA They were the first I tried to buy because they are the best known but in my country it is very expensive to buy slugs and there was no understanding with Nick

I discovered AVS slugs when testing my Leshiy 2 .25 for slugs. Very impressed with them.
NSA is great if you have an airgun that likes them. Most cost effective slugs out there.

I have tried the NSA slugs and they do not perform as well. The AVS mushroom and deliver a better kill shot.

Every AVS slug I’ve put through my DayState Safari into ballistic gel mushrooms perfect. And from the reaction of the pigeon and collard doves that I have shot Id say they perform on birds equally as well. This is the .25 cal 34g dish into gel at 10 yards

Big fan of AVS. This guy loves the sport and makes killer ammo. I have some for my 22 nova and they are very accurate and expand nicely. I'm going to order some for my avenger 25 and see how they compare to the FX hybrids in terms of accuracy.

+1 for AVS. He knows what he’s doing for sure. I have the 28 and 30gr cup base slugs shooting good out of a marauder with stock barrel. I’ve tried everything and AVS slugs we’re the only ones that weren’t peppering a target at 50yards.
