Avenger question ?

I remember seeing one aftermarket scope rail option for the avenger. I don’t think the one I saw had any moa built into it. Does anyone make aftermarket rails for the avenger with 20-30 moa built into it? They shoot amazingly accurate but are just low out of the box. I shimmed the rear of my scope with pieces of beer can but moa scope rails would be much easier.

Be careful with some of the adjustable scope rings. If the adjustable parts are serrated, they will only move straight up and down so if you raise one, and lower the other, you will put your scope tube in a bind.

I did use a pair of them once, but first I milled off the serration with a file so that I could raise and tilt the rings to keep the bores parallel with one another.

After that I assembled and mounted the rings leaving the height adjustment screws loose. Mounted the scope and snugged the rings, then set my angle with a digital inclinometer and snugged the height adjusters. Then I slightly loosened the scope ring clamping screws to verify that scope was free in the mounts. Set my eye relieve and leveled the horizontal of the crosshairs. Torqued the rings and went shooting. It worked perfectly and has not lost zero since I first set it up.

I just wonder why you need adjustable rings for scope ? How far you going to shoot ?
Sometimes an airgun shoots low and you want to adjust for that without using up most of the scope's elevation adjustment. Some people like the cross hairs as close to optically centered as possible. If it makes you happy without harming others you should do it. Se la vie.

That was exactly my reason for it.
Found elevations center on the turret. Mounted the scope and adjusted the rings to zero the scope at 50 yards. worked perfectly.
