Air Venturi Avenger Lowering Regulator Pressure

Hi. When adjusting (lowering, my goal is to start at 1400 psi) the regulator pressure setting, I understand the air tank needs to be emptied. When filling, the product manual indicates filling to 4500 psi, however I don’t have that level of air pressure currently available. Is close to 3000 psi sufficient? Is the key to fill above the regulator set pressure? Thank you.

Yes, as long as you're filling to something a bit above the intended regulator setpoint, you're approaching it the right way.

the benefit of 4500 PSI is more shots.. like nervoustrig said, that you only have to be above regulator set pressure for it to work.. once you are down to the regulator setpoint the regulator is wide open and then you are basically shooting non regulated..
