Air Venturi Avenger air leak problems?

i know this has been talked about many times. But with that said I have not seen a true fix, unless I missed something. These
are just too good of pcps to not find the fix. Some on said it might be the brand of o-rings there using? Does ANYONE truly
know the TRUE fix to this problem. I have one that pumps up just find, but overnight it has lost the pressure. I know that has
been addressed before. But I can not seem to find the TRUE FIX for the problem. Some one Please address this & put it to rest?

The good news is if it’s leaking fast enough that it has lost all or most of its pressure overnight, the leak will be easy to identify. Easy as in most likely audible if you put your ear up to each of the seams in a quiet room. Otherwise soapy water or leak detector fluid are options, but at that point I would consider going ahead and doing a full reseal job, especially if it’s more than a couple of years old.

Case in point, mine finally sprung a leak at the Foster fill port. The seal consists of a ball against an O-ring which creates a pinch point and the O-ring gets damaged over time. I fixed it and went to air it back up and it began leaking from one of the tube end caps. Took it apart and found the O-ring had begun to harden. What happened when I depressurized it to fix the leak at the fill port is the end cap’s O-ring relaxed and pulled away from the gap. Seeing that, I decided it was time to do a full reseal.

My Avenger leaked like that when I first got it and I sent it back under warranty. It cost me $80 to send it back if I remember right (Pirate ship would be a lot less I think) and I was without the gun for 5 weeks. It has not leaked since. If it leaks now it is out of warranty and I will just put in new O-rings. My rule of thumb is Chinese O-rings seem to last roughly 3 years at best. Hopefully better ones last a bit longer. All my regulator issues have been fixed with new O-rings too. Or a little silicone grease in the right place (and only the right place, not on the bellville washers).

I had a huma regulator in a brand new Caiman that stopped functioning two times. First time it started working when I removed globs of silicone grease from the washers. Second time a little grease on the O-ring on the adjustment stem (it was bone dry) fixed it. It is not just Chinese made guns that can have issues.

Thank Everyone of you. This maybe a stupid Question , but what is the foster fill fitting? Is that what’re fill the
air chamber? I,m going to try that first if that is what I,m right in thinking it is. I need to find a YouTube video
explaining how to rebuild one of these. I,m also going to order that Trucker advised. You guys are the best! 🪰Fly
