Avenger 22

I took the Avenger out back today and put the Pro tune on it and that's where I like it for now. JSB 18.13 @ 901 psi, es 14, div4, 15.89@941psi, es10, div2, cros 14.3@970, es9, div2. These are ten shots string from 300 bar fills. Then I put five shots at the chrony just to see what the 25.39 JSB would do, 775 average for five shots, es10,div4 and last as it was getting late in the day five shoots from 21.14 gr H&N baracuda av839, es6 and div2. I'm very pleased at these numbers. My reg pointer on the gage is left of the 2000 psi mark so I assumed it is at around 1800 psi and hammer spring from backed out to 2.75 inward. The shots were going straight and no chipmunk will get by if I do my part. That's it for now !

There's the results of some of the proofs of the pro tune I did yesterday. I put 5-6 shots with various pellets listed with 10 to 20 mph wing gust from my right to left. I filled my rifle yesterday evening before putting it away to 300 bar. Today I shot off three shots without pellets before shooting these groups. I finished with 3000 psi on the gage. All shots done on a rest. Those 25.39 redesigned are something else and all shots at 30 yards . More later!

I just want to let everyone know that from my previous settings , I turned my hammer spring back from 2.75 to 2 turns and I like the crony numbers better as for as shooting the JSB 18.13 or the FX 18.1grain pellets. I also put in an order for the 177 with a planed arrival date or 10/2020. I love the features of my Avenger. Great little Econo rifle.

I'm very strongly considering getting it in .177 too. Let us know what you think of it! Or anyone else with a .177, please let us know somewhere, even if not here.

Just recently I have been dealing with regulator creep on the Avenger 22. PA sent me a Delrin seat to put into the Reg but I took another route in dealing with the creep. Removed the reg after degassing and polished the seat still into the reg and polished it . Took me a couple of times but I was successful. Put it back together and air leaked from the reservoir tubes next to the reg housing. I have a metric Viton o-ring kit that I picked up at Harbor Freight and replaced both tube o-rings with an A112, perfect fit. My rifle is holding pressure on the reg at 1800 psi now for a day with a 3500 psi fill. Everything looking good so far. I used 800 grit wet and dry to polish, followed with 1200 grit.
