Ok so I don’t remember how many turns I get on my hammer spring adjustment. But I did realize today from all the way out and going in five full turns it was cock. I can pull the handle all the way back but nothing catches. Is this a problem any one else has ran into and is there a way to fix it? Trying to figure out a good slug tune for 20gr .217 n this is not helping

It will not cock. The hammer or sear or what ever is not catching all the way adjusted all the way in. Sorry for type o

Well it sounds like your coil bound. There is nothing wrong with your rifle, many will do this if given too much preload. Back off 1 turn and see if it cocks. If not keep backing off until it will cock.

Ok then that’s what it is n wanted to make sure. Because if I do back off about half a turn it’s back to being fine. Now to wait for more slugs so can get the speeds I want with a lower reg setting trying just below 900fps
