I'm slightly concerned about refilling my Avenge-X bottle via compressor. When filling, the compressor pressure rises to 800-1000 psi (based on the compressor's gauge) over the rifle's gauge before filling the bottle. Do I have moisture concern or a blockage in the fill port?
Some background/context: Averaging 80 shots per fill in .22, over 6000 (estimated) shots on the rifle. The first 60 or so fills, the bottle would 'click' and start to fill at +200 psi between the 2 gauges (compressor > bottle). I use an Air Venturi 4500 psi compressor (the precursor to the Krypton) and recently changed the moisture filter. Since that change the compressor gauge will rise considerably higher (800-1000 psi) before actually filling. I've not noticed any accuracy difference, however I'm worried that I won't be able to fill bottle to bottle when necessary. I clean the barrel every 1000 shots or so and lubricate what looks needed. I understand that this is a 'budget' gun but I'd like to ensure its longevity nonetheless.
