Air Venturi Avenge-x on sale

I have been looking to get back in the hobby with a pcp (i only have 1 springer and 1 pumper right now that were in storage for years) and noticed today that almost the whole line of different styles of Avenge-x's were on sale for 20% off at PA. I kind of wanted the shorter tactical carbine version but after watching some videos it seems like it may not be as accurate as the longer barrel at 30-50yards, and the carbine is excluded from the sale it seems.

Has the avenge-x ever been so cheap before or is this a really good time to get one? I plan to be using a pump and it seems like it will be a bit of a workout.

Haven't followed Avenge-X pricing but if anyone asked I'd suggest Pyramyd Air, around major holidays, when special discounts often show up. If PA drops regular pricing to move product, I'd try to combine that with special holiday discounts for extra savings. WM

20% off is a pretty good price, they dont really go on sale super often usually just around the holidays. Normally PA excludes the AvengeX line from coupons too, so now is a good time I would say.

But if you plan to use a hand pump, I would suggest looking at something like a Gamo Urban, or a Notos. If you plan to buy a GX CS3 Compressor at some point the AvengeX makes a lot more sense if you ask me. Hand pumping is not fun especially when you go to do any kind of tuning.
