AV Avenger + JSB Hades = squirrel-b-gone

Finally made it off work in time before it got too dark to see if I could tag one of the billion squirrels that tear up my yard. Avenger in .25 slinging JSB Hades. Reg around 2300psi, generating 890ish fps. 



Still ended up being a little too late to catch squirrel rush hour but did manage to tag one. In typical squirrel fashion, sat still right up til ya pull the trigger, caught him just a smidge low vs where I was originally aiming. Was still a one-shot, quick expiration of this fella. The thud of the hades impact is crazy.

Good shooting! What kind of tripod clamp is that? Got the Caldwell deadshot field pod and it's kinda huge and tall even at its minimum height.

Phildog was right, it's the bog death grip. Love it, it is a big tripod though. Not super walk around with it portable but it's great for the type of shooting I do.

Somewhere between 30-35 yards, so some shorter shots. I have my rifle zero'd at 35 and generally shoot up to a max of about 45/50 yards.

It's the DonnyFL Sumo with the Avenger extension adapter. It's great bc the adapter actually centers on the barrel and eliminates the issue that some folks have with pellet clipping bc the moderator weight tends to pull the shroud down. It's $45 so right in line with a 'normal' adapter from him. Excellent fit.



I'd say it's very effective, the wife no longer complains that my shots are 'too loud'. It's more like a fart cannon now, hammer/pellet strike is louder.

Yeah, especially given that their mission presently seems to be making my yard look like a mini crater impact field with all their digging.
