Auto Type Repair Manual for Compressor

I have an Air Venturi compressor. It seems to go to about 3800 psi and no higher, I think, Ran it for 45' and didn't see any increase in pressure above 3800. Maybe I should let it work longer or maybe there is something wrong with it.? With my luck I fear it will need some repair. I am going to have to do it. Is there a automobile TYPE repar manual for compressors? Is this common? Where to get parts if needed. Thank you

If you don't want to do the soapy water trick then just Borrow someone's thermal imaging goggles or camera and run your compressor in an air conditioned or dark cool room or try it at night when ambient temperature is cool here's what your possible leak should look like. This had been questioned as a fake but you get the picture of the heat or leak.

I own a thermal camera, check my topic created history. They do not work in this manner, they do not detect vapor in this manner. The best you could hope for would be a cooling area at the leak if it acted like an expansion valve. Likely a thermal camera would not be useful due to the emissitivity issues. You'd end up seeing your own LWIR reflected off the piping.
