attic range.

Here we go all straightened up for use, total range distance approximately 38 feet. I may shorten that down to 30~ feet for a 10m range so I can have a more comfortable bench location. I will get some shooting in once I arrange a good trap and back splash area door armor and a lock to keep my monster from barging in.

From my bench, that bit of carpet that's hard to see down there is where I intend to put my trap.

Great project insanity. Stretch it out! I love how we find ways to make indoor ranges, and for us living in the north, to be able to shoot in the winter. I did a thread last year about how I punched a hole in one of my basement walls and put a tube out to a box with the target and a light so I could have a 25m "indoor" range!! The addiction knows no limits!!

Finalized everything subject to change. So the tote it works but the plastic is too brittle to handle even holding a staple in so here is the progression of this will work for now. All in all it is a great size and the way I have it set up I could put LED strips on the lid behind the cardboard to make a hole more noticeable. I shot a few hundred rounds tonight I didn't count tossed on the new scope a much needed replacement. Only thing I leaned I need to practise a lot to get good at shooting that thing as I am ethere dead on or off a lot. I was using CPHP and CPP I may explore a pellet assortment soon but i think it's just me.

In location.

4x4 to level the trap and a 1x just as a little protection to that 2x4.

Here you can also see that I just taped a sheet of cardboard on the lid.

I didn't have quite enough mulch in it and may have had one come out the top, so I overstuffed it.

Curious as to how deep the pellets are going the answer is approximately 2.5 inches as the lid is resseased a skosh.
