Attention to details

Buffing the stock on a very special Beeman R1, with the help of a nearby lamp took a short pause to appreciate the fine details of the 4 panel checkering, grip cap and shadowline cheek piece. Absolute mastery - the artistic signature of the one and only Jan Kraner.

Once ideal natural lighting conditions permit, I’ll be able to photograph the entire rifle.

Love the scratching on this rifle!

Guys, we had some pretty amazing morning lighting conditions this side of the Blue Ridge mountains - here are some pics of the rifle (Beeman R1 Super America, Beeman R1 JK Custom Classic, Beeman R1 Supergrade- these names came to mind when I tried naming the piece, quite fitting I think):

Pics are of course reduced in size but I hope they capture the essence of this thoroughbred.

This was Mr. Kraner’s personal rifle and it is a JOY to shoot offhand. I haven’t even adjusted the scope position to better suit my anatomy, it’s exactly how he set it up and I really like the old school ScopLevel. It is accurate from seated and kneeling also, but something about the standing just feels right. The sound of the .22 cal JSB Jumbo Exacts HAMMERING the 1/4” thick AR500 steel paddles on my KYL target from 25 - 35 yards is something to be enjoyed- instant satisfaction that makes it tough to put the rifle down! Once I get the SpringGun get together up and running - I’ll be sure to let the fellas try this one out - the grin won’t leave your face after hearing the steel get thoroughly pummeled!

First air rifle shot in 2023, and absolutely loving it. I will always have space and make time to enjoy a fine shooting magnum springer, especially one of this pedigree.
