Attention Illinois Hunters and fishermen

I found this looking at the new hunting and fishing regulations for this season. Illinois Dnr is now leasing private land for public hunting! This includes small game hunting. You must first register. I will put the link below. You may register for 3 permissions a year it sounds like. This is a huge step forward with over 16,000 new acres of hunting access.

It may also be worth wile to spread the word to landowners.

thanks I'm in Illinois and we have 40 acers 10 acers on woods.

What part are you in? I have 3 acres of open land haha I only have ground squirrels in the north west.

Wonderful. Leave it to Illinois to complicate the issue. Perhaps they should read New Mexico's F&G rules.

I registered, but the IRAP site is a real piece of work. You have to register to see a map. When you see a map, it looks like the site is a dot on a map, I still haven't been able to find specific address, location information or site contact. It might be in there, but it is painful. Fully up to IL politics standards.
