Atomic XR, Year One…

This little gun has been a game changer for me in so many ways. From the outset it’s been a small, rugged, and lightweight PCP. Over the course of the year it has proven to be reliable and consistent. Over 300 kills and I’ve had zero issues with it. From sparrows to woodchucks. Its been up to the task. Easily hand pumped, less than 50 strokes. The Atomic XR has an outsized grip on me because of its real world performance. Am looking forward to some Springtime pesting.

I sure like mine. As a pistol! To each his own, eh? Merry Christmas Luis.

Yah, I really like mine too. I looked at it for about 1 year but I was hesitant because of shot count. I shoot a lot at 30 yards out of my garage into my back yard. I had a Compatto a few years ago which I really liked but it only had a 30 shot count. I sold it and bought a Bantam. I also have a Commander so you can see I like Brococks. I solved the shot count from the bench by filling my small Omega Tank to 3500 psi and hooking it up directly to my gun. Unlimited number of shots. I've had it for a little over a month and have taken 5 squirrels so far. Great little guns! My target is down by the tree trunk

@L.Leon You’ve definitely put that gun through its paces. Brococks are quality built rifles and that little carbine looks like a short-midrange small-game hunter/pester in your hands.
Thanks! Am looking to do more of the same in the coming year... It really is a capable rig, its size and weight encourage walking about.

I used to not like these types of little guns but seeing everyone on here using them has changed my mind. They're really starting to grow on me. I like the idea of just having a nice and little gun as a woods walker or for around the house shooting. 6 months ago I would never even think about buying something like this but now its what I'm eyeing next.

My first PCP. Bought it because of the iguana problem here in South Florida. I have dozens of firearms but even those with suppressors can’t be discharged within the city by law. Fifty years ago I had a Crossman Power Master that I wore out, but it was nothing at all like the Atomic. Very light and handy, extremely accurate, very suited for controlling iguanas in an urban environment.
I may get a long barreled 25 cal Brocock rifle if I go on an iguana Safari out in the Everglades swamp.

L.L. I feel the same way about my little Kral NP-03 . For a majority of my pest shooting , It is darn near perfect ! I do like the looks of the Atomic and I know you get what you pay for , but my CFO ( read lovely bride of 40+yrs ) would probably do an Exorcist twist (to me) if I approached her w/ a purchase $$$$ airgun now ! I've retired now a year & a half & acquired several airguns & accessories . I'm on my second ATN day/night scope along w/ a NV 100 , several red/ green & IR lights. Most of this spending spree was the result of my permission farmer asking if I could shoot rats  !
