In Dana’s torture test the Atomic XR held up as well as the Evol Mini. Both were functional at the end of that horror. In his in the field review of the Atomic XR, he proves it quite capable to 60 plus yards. @Wingman115, also has an excellent in the field video with the Atomic XR. In stock form the Atomic XR puts out less power, but if bumped up a bit? I like my Atomic XR as is. Just thought a direct comparison of the two by someone lucky enough to have both… Dana? The Atomic is a seriously robust platform. It’s overlooked by many because it’s sub 20 FPE. I’ve learned that low power gets it done out to 50 yards and further depends on situation. I know the Atomic wouldn’t compare in terms of power. But how about build quality? I’ve had mine since March and am closing in on 300 pests, mostly sparrows and starlings. With some chucks, chipmunks, mice and rats sprinkled in. For me it’s been an awesome gun.
