I bought a battery pack (14 bucks. 3000mah. Last about 3 hours) that is used to charge cell phones with and use it to power the scope. I got tired of buying Lithium AA's.
Still trying to get the rubber seal for the external battery pack hookup. I guess I'll just have to make my own....

Ditto to what DaveCole said, I actually bought a 12000 mah charger from Frys and it lasts all day. The newer firmware seems to have addresses the majority of issues, especially the freezing up. The scope is an incredible deal at that price. So easy to zero and record.
