Im ready for my first firmware update for the 4K pro I purchased last year. Im using an iMac with the latest operating system. Can I do the firmware updates when downloading on the micro sd using an IMac instead of a PC ?

I'm no computer expert but, the software update was designed for the ATN X-sight operating system. The OS you download it to should not make a difference.

Yes, it does work. I have a couple that I keep updated and only have a Mac. Just make sure Card isn’t formatted in NTFS

I just updated my firmware using my MacBook. Just download the .bin file, then copy it to the root directory on the SD card from your scope. Power on the scope and follow the on-screen prompts. After it's been updated, power down the scope, remove the SD card and delete the .bin file from the root directory. Reinsert the SD Card in your scope and you're good to go!
