I just had the 5 X 20 and wound up returning it for the following reasons:
1) As Oldspook mentioned the firmware is not stable. It freezes up a lot, so badly that I had to take the batteries out.
2) The focus knob is so ridiculously hard to turn I think my thumb and index and middle fingers are muscular now.
3) Its pretty damn heavy (which is expected for all the stuff it can do crammed into one device)
4) The FOV was not wide enough for me on the 5 X 20
5) I found the range finder to be inaccurate, it uses trig to calculate the distance but for smaller targets it just didnt work.
There are good qualities though, the technology is really cool and holding all constant you really cant get anything else with all the functionality near the price range. I am waiting to see about firmware releases and may purchase the 3 X 14 instead.
The recordings come out really nice in the day time and the One Shot Zero feature is awesome. I also really liked to be able to use my ZTE Spro Projector to display whatever the scope was seeing on a big screen. One thing that kinda sucked is that you cant share the video and record at the same time.
Hope that helps, I will send you some of the videos I took if you would like.
