ATN power pack trouble

I am trying to use the ATN power pack on my ATN X-sight. it is the first model. I got the thing to power on twice, but it took very many tries. The battery is blinking the 4 power lights on the battery, but since the only instructions I have are in Chinese, I have no clue as to what the blinky lights mean. The MI web sight ( battery manufacturer) is great with yadda yadda about how good their product is but offers no pdf manual or any other help, except log in password just to talk to them.
So if anyone that has one of these battery packs has a manual in English, I would really appreciate some help with the blinky light issue. It is blinking four or five times. I did try it with the AA batteries and it powered right up normally. I even tried a different power cord to see if that was the problem. And I did charge the battery as the ATN instructions specified before trying to use it. It did show a full charge before I tried to use it

"badammo"It appears the trouble is with the scope as I tried the power pack on my cell phone and it charges the phone just fine.
Oldspook thank you for pointing me towards the ATN forum. Hopefully there will be a resolution to my scope issue.
Let me also suggest that you contact ATN at their offices by phone 800-910-2862. Document, document, document, they have to be able to duplicate your problem. If they can't you will have to send your scope to them.

The unit is quite power hungry when it is running the GPS and Wifi, so once you get things sorted turn them off unless you need them. Also your battery may well have enough current to operate a phone and not enough to operate the X-Sight.

You need to watch the thing boot and make note of everything you see. If your device is new, you need to format the SD card on a computer using fat32 format. You can not use the "Quick" format you have to use the format that checks for bad blocks on the SD card. It takes a long time to format a high capacity SD card and check it for bad blocks. This is because there are reports that the device has issues with bad blocks on the SD card. Once you have done that, you need to download the latest version of the firmware from here:
https://www.atncorp.com/firmware

Install the firmware per the instructions at that site. Now then, if your batteries are flakey, that is going to be a problem. I'd recommend you start with a freshly charged battery. Once you've done all that and power cycled the updated device you should be ok.
