ATN 4K Pro Versus Chrony/Rangefinder/Ballistic Comp/Night Sight

Hi guys

Looking at the ATN 4K pro, I’m wondering if I should go that route where it’s does all the work rezeroing every shot so it’s dead on, or does it actually replace buying a chrony, and entering all the ballistic data into the ballistic computer and buying a range finder and then also buying a side shot camera to record, AND even buying an IR device to use at night

Does the ATN 4K pro have the ability to replace all that stuff above?

It does all that stuff fairly well but none of it as well as the best. Jack of all trades, master of none. The recording isn't quite as high def as a side mount can be. The visuals aren't as sharp as a pure optical scope. The night vision is not powerful as a pure thermal imaging scope...but still surprisingly good. For all you get, it is an amazing bargain.

The biggest minuses, are the weight, the requirement to have to use the eye cup in sunlight and the narrow field of view and the battery life of the rangefinder. Those can be make or break issues depending on how you are using it.

I like mine for specific things; night vision hunting, quick ranging coupled with auto ballistic compensation and one shot sight in.

so I ordered the 4k pro with ABL for the exact reasons above. Weight isn’t much of an issue since I’ll be using tripod or bench, backyard pesting rarely needs more than one shot.

my main concern is clarity when zoomed in during the day but I love the auto ballistic adjustment idea because I’m not very good at it and even with help I constantly make mistake like dialing the wrong way. I should practice more hahaha

will see if I will sell the ATN or my normal scope with Pard or keep both.....
