What sqwirl said above is 100% correct. Some people are also using the G1 drag function also and they are also "fudging" their FPS numbers sometimes as much as 1000FPS or their weight numbers or both in order to get that same trajectory. I have been playing around doing this and I have found 2 pellets so far and have gotten a match and its been a lot of work and I am only trying to check numbers to 50yds reaching out to 100 and 100+ and finding matches I bet is going to be even harder.
Being a new ATN 4K 3-14 owner myself I have decided I think to go the old fashioned route. Use the Mil reticle (which you can also adjust the mil spacing) and range my target using the mils. I shoot at known 10-20-30-40-50yd+ distances with my usual 25yd zero and record where the pellets hit in comparison to the reticle, I then make a little piece of card stock paper with a crude drawing of my reticle and the corresponding ranges, for every new pellet you just make a new card and they become like a little flip book inside your scope cap or some put them in their grip or tape it to the stock or keep in a file on their phone or some people can just remember them lol. I am doing this because I believe its faster for hunting small game then trying to manually enter the range in the scope, and the built in range finder I think gets you close enough to get on paper but not close enough to rely on for hunting, If I had a laser range finder that talked to it like the handheld or ABL then that would probably change things.
Here are couple links of must haves for the 4k
A size 34 flip up lens cover
https://amzn.to/3iityYI A size 48 flip up lens cover that you will want to modify by drilling a 3/8"-1/2" hole in the center of it for daytime use to get better clarity on both the screen and your recordings
https://amzn.to/3zSDHBk A 62mm Amazon Basics UV camera protection lens filter
https://amzn.to/3m7zLrz What you do with this lens cover is use your included ATN sunshade and even through its not threaded you "press" fit this in the end of it using a wood table and just work around it pressing with just your hands and soon it is a snug fit tight fit like it was there from the factory, then simply screw your sunshade onto your scope. I can send you pics of mine or post them here if you want. It will protect your lens of your pricey investment and makes cleaning easier and keeps the actual lens clean and protected. And since you will want to modify your lens cover with a 3/8" hole in the middle of it this is a must have for that mod. Here is the credit on where I learned of the UV Lens mod https://youtu.be/0J5NcujEY1I its towards the end of the video.
