Hi everyone, my brother has ordered a daystate pulsar OS and is impatiently waiting for its arrival. He asked me if he bought an atlas bi pod, would it fit directly onto the picatiny rail on the gun and if so, which one to buy?
Just to add on to this, even if you only plan on using the atlas on one gun it is nice to be able to quickly shed the weight of the bipod for offhand shots."Ted"I asked about the rail at IWA last month. Daystate said that it was designed with standard Picatinny dimensions. An Atlas bipod should absolutely fit properly to that rail. It looked "right" to me. That said, I have not yet seen an Atlas attached to a Pulsar - so, that is my disclaimer.![]()
As for which model to get - there are two that attach via picatinny rail. One is fixed, and one is quick-release. The quick-release model costs around $80 more, but is worth every penny if you plan to swap the bipod from gun to gun.
