Atlas Bi-pod, should I get the BT-10 LW17 or BT-10??

I only have one gun I will be using it on (R3M) so should I just get the version with the 2 screw picatinny clamp to save a few bucks or go for the quick release? These things are already expensive enough and there is a blemished (a blemish won't bother me) BT-10 on the Accu-shot website for $186. That would save me darn near $100 compared to a new BT-10 LW17.

Is there anyone that has used both? For some reason in the videos I have watched the picatinny clamp version looks more wobbly than the quick release but maybe thats just the way it looked. Hard to know since I've never used one. Thanks for the input!

I have only used the Atlas with a quick release and you can easily adjust the tension on the clamping mechanism. I also have the wide stance Atlas and it is really nice (and expensive). The only difference I can tell between the blemished and the full price Atlas, is that, for the full price, they let me put my own blemishes on their product.
That being said, you won't regret buying one for $186 and you can always upgrade to the quick release, if you want to.

"Tweeter"I appreciate it Brian but I won't order from Optics Planet. Their customer service isn't the best. Keep in mind I'm basing this off my one call to their customer service department but it was enough for me to buy elsewhere.
I never had a problem with anything I purchased from them therefore I never used their customer service. On something as simple as a bipod there is not much to go wrong and the company that makes the Atlas has excellent service.
