Athlon Talos 6-24x50

I got a couple new P35s yesterday and put an Athlon Talos 6-24x50 on the 22 caliber. I got it for under $200 at a Thanksgiving day sale on line. I mounted it briefly to my 25 caliber P35 while I was waiting for Krale to get more P35s so it would be rough sighted for it's new home. Everything went well.

But when I mounted it to the 22 last night I noticed the parallax is much more sensitive than the Primary Arms 4-14 on the 25 or the 4-16 on the 177. By sensitive, I mean the image is very obviously blurred until you get the parallax right. For hunting this may occasionally be annoying I suspect but it could also be useful to better estimate the range.. For FTT it could be especially useful. Anybody have this scope and, if so, do you agree with this observation?

I haven't used that scope but if you put the magnification on medium like 10x-18x the image should be easier to tune in with the side focus. Also make sure your diopter/reticle focus is tuned to your eye. Then use 24x for target shooting.

I do have the Talos 4-16x40 and have had good luck with it. A nice scope for the $160 MAP price.

Could be that the rings are too tight??? This will bind up the side focus a little hampering the image focus mechanism.
