Athlon or Falcon?h

No experience but there is a youtube channel named "AirAbility" where it has been reviewed favorably. The host is a champion benchrest shooter in Britian who is using one now in competition. There may be some pride in a British product contributing but I'm sure he wouldn't use a product that would cost him points.

I like my Athlon scopes including an Argos 10-40 that is back with Athlon for the second time in less than a year. But others report very good performance on multiples of the same model for several years. This is a less expensive scope (around $350) that has good glass. I would assume more expensive models are even better.

What has been the failure point of the 10-40? If it’s been back twice that’s alarming.

I think the Falcon is made by Sightron with Falcon packaging. I own the Falcon and a Athlon ares gen.2 15-60x56 and a nightforce 12-42x60 BR. That is 20yrs. Old and still like this scope the best out of them all great glass thin reticle, it’s very heavy but a great scope! Last I know they still make this scope and can be bought for around $1200.00 that should tell you something! Draw backs for some is weight and front focal plane adjustment, more accurate than side focus!
