You get what you pay for but with that being said Athlon scope models are really good in there price points. I put a Talos on my son’s RWS and I’ve used Midas Tac, ETR and Cronus on my match rifle. Have another Midas Tac on my HW97K and has performed flawlessly so far. The Glass on the ETR is pretty good glass and punches above its cost level. The Cronus glass is up there with the glass on Vortex Gen II Razors and tracking is just as good. The only complaint I have with most of the Athlon Models is their eye box is a bit tight and the eye relief is rather long. Still they are a good choice for a lot of platforms. I have 2 Gen II Razors which I think at there price point may be the best optic in the $1800-$2000 range but when needing a cheaper scope like the Midas Tac I have on my HW97 I’ll purchase an Athlon model over the cheaper Vortex models.
