Don't have the lpvo but just got 6-24x56 a few days ago. I looked at the 1-10x28 but went with the Blackhound 1-8x28 instead; main reason is FFP vs SFP. The extra magnification would be nice but I'm using the Blackhound on my MK2 for 75 yards and in.
If the LPVO is anything like the big brother it's a winner!

Anyone have experience with this? Amazing price for a 1-10, and backed with athlon warrant, can’t go wrong. Don’t see any reviews out for it. Is it fairly new?

There are two reviews on Midway, but they aren’t communicating much of anything about use on air rifles. The holdover spacing on the reticle (in the pics) reminds me of a BDC reticle. The description says it corresponds to 68-69 grain .223/5.56 NATO cartridges. I’m curious as to others’ experiences with this scope. I honestly didn’t search the threads to see. I just posted when I saw the deal in case any of you all might be interested.

And a fantastic deal it is, so thank you. I’m more worried about eyebox than reticle. Not sure what’s “too much” magnification in the LPVO category

Keep in mind most all of the LPVO scopes including the Helos have a 100 yard parallax. Sure they will focus down to 10 yards or so on low power but you could be a little off target without good cheek weld placement. I’m running a LPVO Crimson Trace on my Veteran Compact. It works well and I don’t have any complaints. Mine is a 1-4x24. Pic of the Taipan and a few 50 yard 5 shot groups using the scope below. You will notice that accuracy isn’t an issue with these if you do your part.

@Cannonball that is extremely tight shooting and looks great as well. At 50 yards that is accurate and most definitely deadly.
The price of the Helos with the discount is nice and puts it in line with the Blackhound. Not sure how much the Crimson runs but I'm sure it's in the same ballpark as the others.

Athlon has a great warranty too. And @ madeintheuk, it is newer as it is the 2021 version.

The Crimson Trace I have is discontinued and sold out unless you want to pay inflated prices. I just looked and found a deal on eBay. I made an offer on the scope, we will see if it gets accepted. It’s definitely worth the full price and then some but if I can save a little I will. This is a made in Japan Barra scope that everyone raved about in the higher magnification. I have a 4-20x50 and it was a steal at $200. I will warn everyone that according to the reviews on this model the duplex reticle is THICK. I’ll stick it on one of my AR’s if I don’t like it for Airgun use with the thick reticle.

@cannonball: I’ve made multiple offers and got no response so he probably won’t accept anything below 120. We’ll worth the money but a bit concerned around the thick reticle. Probably will still grab one as I missed their 1-6 version, this is a very interesting scope for close range deer hunting. Optically japanese Barra scopes are stupendous!

i just got my helos gen2 2-12 today (also paid 499 for it). after having several of the lower tier athlon scopes, i am kinda blown away. these helos gen2 scopes are really nice in my amateur opinion!

Mine comes tomorrow! Can't wait for it.

It's the PERFECT scope for my k1. I've only shot 2 mags, but I am really liking it so far!
