I too like doing business with CameralandNY. They had Midas Tac's on sale this last week. Was thinking about a 6-24x50 so I could return my 4-16x44 to the powder burner it was adorning.

I purchased an Athlon Helos BTR 6-24x50 FFP scope at Midway for $300.00 a few months back. The same scope runs about $560 at other retailers, but they had a limited number available at the discounted price. They went out of stock shortly after I ordered mine, but a few weeks later I picked up a Bushnell Engage 3-12x42 with TLT turrets for $200.00, again at Midway. Keep checking their site periodically for sales, and something may come up. You can search in order of discount percentage to find some of their best deals.

Just took advantage of the 11% off and free shipping from Optics Zone on a Athlon scope. After the order went in I was notified the scope wasn’t in stock and will be on back order. Looking at mid June for earliest delivery.

I have bought Meopta and Vortex from Scopelist.com, same great prices as camera land and optics zone but with free two day air shipping. Athlon is out of stock everywhere. Have an ares BTR back ordered for months through camera land. No ETA. They tell you one, but the ETA will come and go.
