I bought my 2nd Athlon Argos HMR 2-12x44 via Amazon about 18 months ago.
It was a "Used/Excellent (returned) scope
Foolishly I did not check its condition before the return period ran out
And when I finally mounted it there was an issue with focusing.
Just last month I sent it in to Athlon hoping they would be able to fix it under their forever warranty.
They were not, claiming it unrepairable
They also stated that it was currently out of stock & replacement would be delayed.
I figured that ended the discussion until out of the blue a UPS package with a brand-new scope arrived yesterday.

You now have a customer for life, just like your warranty
