Athlon Midas TAC 34mm vs. 30mm Tube

Hi guys, just as the title says, what is the difference between these scopes other than the size of the tube? It is obvious that the 34mm tube will have a higher light entry so the image might appear lighter but other than that, is the quality, turret tracking, quality of glass the same?

There is some useful videos on YouTube with good reviews of this scope. I have been thinking of upgrading my 30mm tac to the 34mm.

You get 7 more mils of elevation travel and the ability to use 34mm rings if those are your primary rings. Plus extra weight which is beneficial in NRL or PRS off barricades and such.

Other than these it's not really any different than the rest of the TAC line.

Light transmission is more about bell size and glass. Your real benefit is your travel in the "gear box". I will almost always opt for a larger tube. If it doesn't wreck the package....maybe. I used to run a Vortex Razor on a Ruger 10/22 bench rifle for giggles for a long while, till my friends at the range shamed me enough times. LOL
