Just put a Athlon Midas 2.5-15X50 on my .22 Wildcat and it is the ticket!. Just love this scope! I had a SWFA 12X42 on the gun, which I also really like, but I really wanted the option of an illuminated reticule. The slightly thicker crosshairs of the Midas reticule are also a big help for my 60 year old eyes
This is the 3rd scope I have tried on my Wildcat, the first being the Argos BTR 6-24X50, which was too big and heavy for the Wildcat. Fortunately, I kept following the posts about Athlon scopes, and when the Midas 2.5-15X50 came out, I decided to get one, and I'm glad I did!
Here are photos of my Wildcat and the place I shoot. I have the sun at my back if I shoot in the AM, then I'm looking into the sun in the evening, making finding small targets really tough when they are at 50 yards, which is in the tree line.
