Athlon Helos 6-24x50 Focus Ranging Qualities?

I have one that I’d like to use in HFT(US), but I’m waiting on a side wheel so no chance to do any focus ranging as yet. Anyone using one of these in FT? Does yours snap in and out of focus at various yardages? Does it provide adequate gaps between marks on a large wheel at longer yardages? Thanks! Uj

I’ve got an Athlon Helos which appears to have the same glass as the Argos. I use it at 24x for Open and WFTF and it seems just OK for focus range finding. I have been using it lately in Hunter Division at 16x, and I have been very satisfied with the focus range finding. It’s got about 180 degrees from 10 to 55 yards. With a 4” diameter wheel, the spacing is adequate.
