Athlon - Fix For Mushy Turret Clicks

Just wondering if there's a simple fix for the Athlon TSP3 turrets.

Bought one because of the small footprint, good reticle, and fairly light weight...BUT

When I tried zeroing the scope the horizontal adjust make a very faint click and the vertical has no click at all..neither tactile or audible.

I've seen a couple of YouTube videos with a fix..general degreasing the turret, but have not seen any for the prism scopes.

Hoping there's a fix?

Not much you can do with those since the turrets can't be removed. I have fixed turrets in the past by lubing them with transmision fluid to slick things up. Some companies use thick grease to lube their turrets and it kills the ability to feel clicks.
Thx. Kind of what I figured.

I sent an email to Athlon and paraphrasing.."if the vertical adjust moves the center aim point, then all is good even if there are no clicks".

Gee, I guess I should be happy..without clicks to worry about, I have an infinite range of adjustment..

Not!! ..LOL.. I'll be returning it.

Just set it and forget it. Not like you will be using the tiny inset turrets to dial for each shot. Learn your drops for distance and go from there.
Part of the problem is me. When the ad copy says “click”, I kinda expect to feel or hear a click..but I hear what you’re saying.

I tried moving the turret back and forth thinking whatever’s been used for lube will work in..but no..the thing just doesn’t really want to move easily. Never had a scope turn like this

Going to send back to Amazon for an exchange. Maybe the next one will be better
