Athlon Argos on the way

"Blaiz1"I bought 2 of the athlon Argos in mill , I jumped on the hype of the Aztec emerald what a mistake that was. The glass on are athlon is just superior .
I am also going to buy a athlon ares btr for my crown .30. when I can get one
I agree: I looked at the emerald and, as much as I want to support small companies, and airgun-focused products, I just didn’t see anything about it that can compete with FFP and consistent units between the reticle and turrets. Those features are the whole reason I sold my Hawke and went with Athlon.

i bought a used Argos to try it out first, and plan to give it to my son or daughter. From there, I will likely get myself an Ares for my HM1000x.

Athlon found a market waiting for them in FFP. Primary Arms has done ok but they stayed with just one magnification. I got into ground squirrel shooting a couple of years ago with airguns and Hawke scopes and it was ok but when I tried my first FFP and could change magnifcation and use the same dope sheet I was sold. I now have 2 - 4-14, 3 6-24, and 1 8-34 FFP Athlon's. I'm a huge supporter. 2 of the 6-24's I bought off this forum.

I couldn't agree with you more.

I bought a TAC Vector, it's a pretty good scope but i Hated when i would change magnification, and lose my zero. My scope on my long range.308 is FFP, had to have one for my PCP.
I haven't shot a lot lately due to ice fishing, but plan on it as soon as ice is done.
