How many have this scope and what are your thoughts? Im thinking of getting 1 and see all the online reviews seem good

I have the scope on my 
30 cal and love it…..I also have a couple of Cronus‘ on other rifles, but the Ares ETR is just as good.

Another Athlon scope you might want to look at for bench rest if you like more magnification is the Ares ETR 15-60X56......The wife replaced her Vortex Golden Eagle for it and she really likes it......She shoots Bench Rest on high magnification.....
My FT rifle has a Midas Tac on it and my springer has a Midas Tac on it.....Yeah I guess you can say I like the Athlon scopes for sure

All the ETR's are great scopes. IMHO the most well made chinese rifle scopes there are! You can spend a lot more money and not get the value these represent in a number of ways.
As far as glass goes the SFP 15-60's are amazing.

I think ill be going with the 4.5x30 as i like the aprl2 reticle better than the dot. When i sight i try to concentrate on the target and with that little dot i loose it so im constantly changing focus. With the bigger + i can see it well even though im looking past it.

Yes eft is 25-100 and bench is 50-75-100 so ya thats good. For ft i got a helos witch goes to 10 the 6-24x56Solo1,
are you OK with the min. parallax not being 10/15y?

I really liked mine, only selling it because I only shoot benchrest now and bought a higher power scope.

Well got the scope and shot it today and it fits what i wanted perfectly! It would be nice if it would focus to 10 yds it would make it easier to setup more closely but i turned the power down and was able to get it setup inside to be able to hit a target about 5-6 inches low at 100 so that wasn’t bad. At 100 the center + just fits in the bull to leave a bit showing so a nice solid aim point and very bright and clear! Makes it easier to see 22 cal pellet holes! Im happy!

I have one in 4.5-30X and one in 3-18X. The 3-18X focuses down to 10 yards. Once thing I wasn't thrilled about is the reticle of the Ares ETR is thicker than the reticle on the Cronus. Other than that, I can't tell the difference between the two...

Same here. Floating dot is PERFECT for field target. Can center (or not, when holding for wind) that floating dot in the round kill zone. Like a peep sight almost, the eye likes to center things.
