Ataman BP17 vs my new Galaxy S8 (at 61 yards)

Hey guys! I was filming my BP17 video today, (14gr JSB’s are the preferred pellet), and I shot my $600 phone with a 14gr at 61 yards. I must not have hit any of the phones vital organs thought because the phone still works and the videos files were fine. Can’t see anything though. Darn BP17!!!!! -Nate

How did this happen? Lol. On purpose or accident? 



I actually plan on shooting my galaxy S8+ because it was the most unreliable phone I ever had. Went back to iPhone and never looked back. 



Soon i will record at 240fps of the galaxy taking 60fpe lol.

Aw man Nate, that's a buzz-kill!

I always get really anxious anytime I have to use my phones to film close to the 'danger zone'.
I use a Galaxy Note 8, and would probably go ballistic if I was to ever accidentally hit mine..

Hey, just in case you're interested, he's a shot of your phone's internals: 
As 'luck' would have it, you were only a few c-hairs away from a lithium fire.  

 

Maybe next time, you should use an Ar500 steel / Kevlar reinforced phone-case?!

Where was your point of aim? That looks like a perfect neck shot. I don't see any exit wound. Looks like you shoot it from the back or maybe a ricochet?

Too bad!! That’s definitely a call you don’t want. Hopefully you can still make a video, I enjoy all of your stuff. I heard that those bull pups are very accurate and I can’t wait to see what you find. I’m pretty sure that I bought my Steyr LG 110 from you, it is incredibly accurate just like you said, I had AZ do a shroud for it too. Well hopefully you’ll get another phone and give us another informative fun video! Good luck and thanks Nate.

I didn’t shoot my phone on purpose but it was 100% my fault, I knew the BP17 would shoot a flyer about 6-8 inches high about every 5 shots...especially when I just filled it. I had my phone exactly 6 inches above a target trying to get a cool shot. ...I knew it might fly high and I aimed exactly 6 inches below my phone.. BAM! ...at least I got it on video (through my side shot). Good times! -Nate
