I saw this on online a few days ago. Looks like an ex partner's take on an EDgun Lelya . I'm not going to pretend to know anything about it in particular but as far as mechanical operation goes, I'm willing to bet that it's usual Ataman quality (which is good). I can't understand why the Atamans have not become more popular but as it is today, if I were going to spend 1400 on one of these.... It would be a no brainer to be to commit a couple hundred more toward the Lelya and get the benefit of Ed's involvement over the years as well as the number of owners in the US.
I'd like to see more Ataman fans and more info out there. Both on forums and youtube and....
The Lelya is one of the most beautiful looking bullpop for me. Its definitely not cheap and hard to find in .22. I love the bullpup design in general. I currently own a Taipan Veteran shorty. Not the best looking, not bad looking in person either, but it can shoot and built like a tank .
Call Brian and see what he thinks on .22 availability/timing.... Not trying to talk you into spending more, really. If anything I'm trying to convince myself to buy one.
