At the dairy today

Thirty birds in about an hour of shooting. Actually there were a couple more that I couldn't get to. The Wildcat did well as usual.

We hunt a dairy near Bakersfield,Ca. and the prey is mostly ground squirrels. On occasion a feral pigeon or starlings , of which there are thousands , but the little furry guys are the deal.

Good shooting Hawkeye! About how many yards are you hitting them at? I assume the Wildcat is a .22. Keep taking out those non native pests. I know that dairy farmer appreciates your good shooting!

Hey readyfisher, take out those starlings while you’re at it. Give the native birds a chance and it’s fun to drop em!
