Arrow barrel on fx impact?

Technically possible to fabricate a threaded piece to hold the inner tube for the arrow, but my concern is calculating the air volume and power to project the arrow...you would be working with allenkeys more then shooting instead. My long range archery -thin arrows are 470 grain heavy, a crossbolt may be about 650-700 grains and about this much you would expect from air arrows as well. Anything thinner wall (to make it lighter) won't survive long especially if you shoot more arrows in a same single target.

I think you is misunderstanding me 😁

the fx arow barrel will fit on the impact but as it is a bulkpup gun the arow has to go trough all the barrel supprts on the impact

And i was just wundering if the arrows stabilizers would just fold when shooting them

this is the fx arrow barrel

.... I think you is misunderstanding me ....

Partially yes, sorry for misunderstanding. But what I wanted to point out, and I know archery also crossbows, you can see in the video the guy shot only one arrow in the target then go pickup and shot again and repeat this walking there and back...with only one arrow...if he would shot two (or more) of those nice looking bare shafts.. the game becomes expensive. Not a problem with the arrow tube (mounted to any airgun), but with the arrow shaft ;)

Old post but I've made my own impact with molded from crown setup.
Works like it should. Groups 1"-2" in groups 25yds.
Running 170 bars shoots 290-297fps with the standard FX arrows. I'm using the 30cal air port with a slug probe. Later I'll delete the probe and blanket off the end, so no probe will be needed
I'm going to down size the shaft from 10mm ID to 6mm ID which should increase the outward pressure and gain roughly 30-50 fps more.
I'm only doing this for the purpose of hunting deer during bow season..
Can't wait till deer season 2023 here we come.

There are videos from a few years ago of Ernest running an impact with the arrow barrel. He fletched the FX arrows with feathers and then trimmed them so they would fit through the rail support openings. He had good results.
I have the barrel kit and have it on my to do list to try it on my impact but I have been just using it on my Crown because it's easy. The arrows from the FX arrow kit are available as a bare shaft and I have a few packs for fletching with feathers as an experiment, but have not gotten around to it
